2D Con believes that community is the core of a great event. We have many options to help promote other organizations that share that belief.
What is Community Commons?
Community commons, formerly Friends of 2D is where you’ll find information about other conventions, events, local businesses and more. Alongside community commons we may also accept ad-swaps and other partnerships.
Due to limited space in our community commons we review each application prior to approving.
We accept organizations and groups that have a community first focus or are primarily gaming related. We may also accept other gaming related groups such as musicians and performers.

Community Commons Table
Tabling at 2D Con is a great way to promote in an exciting environment. Our community tables are located in a high traffic area near our game hall.
Community Commons Hours:
Friday August 22: 1PM-7PM
Saturday August 23: 10PM-5PM
Sunday August 24: 10AM-3PM
Included:
- Up to 4 regular weekend badges to 2D Con.
- One 6′ table in community commons located near the 2D Con game hall.
Rules
- No direct sales at your table. You may direct people to an online store to make purchases, but exchange of currency or direct payments are not allowed.
- At least one person must be at the table for the hours listed.
- You are allowed to be at your table for longer than the hours listed.
Hotel Swap
Hotel swaps are the exchange of hotel rooms between conventions. If a hotel swap is accepted you will receive one hotel room at 2D Con from Friday August 22, 2025 – Sunday August 24, 2025. Typically these will be accepted in exchange for a hotel room and promotional table for 2D Con at your event. Hotel swaps are very limited.
Ad Swap
Ad swaps are the exchange of a 1/4 or 1/2 page advertisement in our printed programming guide for an equivalent 2D Con advertisement at your event.
