Video Game Death Metal – Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Formed from the backing band under Gunderslam, Nemesis Engine is an entirely new identity, covering songs with melodic death metal intention in these new arrangements. This project serves as a continuation of Gunderslam as a full band, bringing forth a new collaboration between the five of them: Patrick Gunderson (Lead Guitars), Jacob Curtis (Lead Guitars), Adam Payne (Rhythm Guitars, Sound Design), Stephen Jensen (Bass), and Roque Cuellar (Drums). After performing at Magfest Mainstage 2026, the band is continuing to perform at VGM events/conventions and seeking to branch out and play within the metal scenes of the Midwest region.
