Introducing My2D V2

2D Con is all about community, and being more than just another convention.

Last year we introduced Guilds to bring a new level of community and competition to our events. Alongside Guilds, we introduced an early version of My2D, your 2D Con network.

While it was a useful tool during 2D Con itself, we wanted to expand it to bridge the disconnect between in person events and online communities.

We’re happy to introduce 2D Con V2, an expanded way keep you connected to other gamers, compete with your Guild, and earn rewards/track your activity at 2D Con and partnered events.

This is just the beginning. We have big plans and a lot of updates on the way. Join us as we work to unify in-person and online events, provide you with recaps, and keep you connected all year long.

Features

Guilds 2.0

The Guild system got a huge upgrade, now nearly everything you do counts towards your Guilds progress.

• Seasons: Seasonal challenges, rankings and more.
• Leaderboards: Season, weekly and daily leaderboards for each guild.

Discord Integration

Connect your Discord account to My2D and keep track of your My2D and event activities. You can connect directly from My2D or use the Discord command /connect on the 2D Con Discord Server.

Reminders: Favorite events on My2D and receive reminder notifications in Discord.
Discord commands: Unlock useful commands in the 2D Con Discord server.

Event Management

We’re an event second, and a community first. Keeping you connected to both is our ultimate goal.

• View 2D Con Event Schedules: Prime, Unplugged, and third party events.
• Favorite: Favorite individual events and be notified when they are coming up. Your favorite events will also show to members of your 2D Fam.
• Check-In: Check in at events to earn rewards.

2D Fam

The core of My2D is connection and friendly competition. 2D Fam is more than just a friends list. It’s a way to stay connected both online and in person. It’s easy to connect with QR code friend requests and an LFG system.

• Shared Event Schedules: For 2D Con events and events that 2D Con is at.
• Simple Messages: No mess, no emojis, no photos. Just a basic message system.
• Leaderboards: Compete with your 2D Fam and see who comes out on top.

LFG System

Finding new friends is hard. The LFG system is there to help. Mark yourself as LFG on My2D and leave a note with what you are looking for. You’ll show up on a public list. If you are connected to Discord, the daily Adventure Log will let others know that you’re looking to game or just hang out.

• During Events: Add yourself as LFG for games, meetups, and more
• Online: Add yourself as looking for 2D Fam or online Gaming groups

Setting yourself to LFG let’s others know that you’re looking to meet new people.

Games

What kind of gaming community would we be without games? We’ve expanded the RPG-type system introduced last year with:

Mini Games: Daily D20, Calming Cast Fishing, Guild Grudge Match, and High Seas Treasure Hunt.
Each game provides XP and coins, and give a chance to find rare game items;
Game Items: Findable or purchasable items that provide modifiers for each game. The modifier depends on the game.
Raids: Boss battles, that let each guild compete for the most damage and killing blow.

Nearly everything you do, both online and offline will earn rewards for you and your Guild.

Daily Quests

• Daily Dice Roll: Roll a D20 with modifiers for daily free XP.
• Daily Discord Command: Free daily XP and coin bonus, with streak bonuses.
• Daily Free Games: Each game allows one free action per day.

Display Items

Digital display items you can earn by completing quests, checking in to events, or just as a special reward.

Achievements

For the achievement hunters out there.

Track your physical 2D TCG collection.

Coming Soon

• Tournaments: Start.gg integration to track your participation and placement in 2D Con tournaments.
• Played: Track the games you played, and the people you played them with during events.

How to get Started with My2D

It’s easy to get started, all you need is a 2D Con account and to be a part of our Discord Server

1. Visit your My2D Page and login with your 2D Con account
2. If you haven’t already, take the Guild Trial to be placed in your Guild
3. Link your Discord and unlock notifications, commands and more
4. Find your 2D Fam and grow your network
5. Check-in at 2D Con events or 2DHQ and earn rewards

Discord Commands

Once you’ve linked Discord and My2D you’ll unlock commands that can be used in the 2D Con Discord Server.

• /profile – View your My2D profile.
• /daily – Claim your daily reward.
• /streak – View your daily reward streak.
• /xp – Check your XP, level, and progress.
• /coins – Check your coin balance.
• /achievements – View your achievements and next goal.
• /guild – View your guild.
• /guild-rankings – View guild standings.
• /leaderboard – View the My2D leaderboard.
• /weekly – View this week’s leaderboard.
• /fam – View or manage your 2D Fam.
• /lfg – Set or view your LFG status for groups, games, meetups, or 2D Fam.
